Founded in 1991, CASPA was formed by some semiconductor professionals who were also pioneers and innovators at Fairchild, AMD, National Semiconductor, and other corporations in the Silicon Valley. Passionated by the new idea of creating new fabless business on semiconductor applications with the Foundry model in both American and Asia, the founders of CASPA had initialized a strong vision that ultimately lead to the formation of CASPA, a primary technology platform for semiconductor professionals to promote technology innovation, assist business collaboration, bridge technology communication across the Pacific, and bring job opportunities to the individuals in CASPA community. Today, CASPA is a great platform for engineers and scientists within the community to share friendship, brainstorm new technologies, incubate business ideas, and more importantly, deliver great service back to CASPA communities. CASPA has flourished over all these 20 years with sponsorship, membership, and many influential activities all year around across United States, China, Taiwan and Singapore.
At CASPA’s 20th anniversary, we will celebrate the glory of semiconductor technology, as well as the great achievement made by CASPA team in the past 20 years. While embracing the semiconductor at its invisible and ubiquitous impact in our life —— at work, at home, and at play, we are also looking into the future where innovations in semiconductor continue, and continue to enrich and create new lives of business and adventures for all.
With great honor, we have invited some visionaries and pioneers in our field as conference keynote speakers, who have made tremendous efforts and significant contributions to the growth and breakthrough of semiconductor industry. They will share their unique understanding and experience in the semiconductor field, and their new vision on how innovations in foundation technologies can continue empowering future long standing technology growth in the form of cloud computing, social network, advanced user interface, and many others. CASPA founders and former presidents will also come to celebrate with us, and share their life experience, wisdom, achievements at CASPA in the past and their visions for the future.
