Abstract: With special thanks to NACSA, we have invited an outstanding group of seasoned high-tech executives to share their experiences and insights on how to survive and thrive in a highly competitive environment in China with emphasize on semiconductor industry.  Additionally, they will discuss how to establish a high-tech business in Shenzhen, China, as well as information on the up-coming China trip organized by NACSA in 2011 for entrepreneurs who are interested in exploring potential business opportunities in China.

Bio: Mr. Robert Fraser has over 30 years experience in sales, marketing and new business development. As the Business Development Director for The North American Office of Shenzhen, China, Robert promoted trade and investment between China and businesses in North America. He also located and provided due diligence for China companies seeking investment in US businesses. Robert currently is on the Advisory Board for the City of Shenzhen.

Bio: Mr. Yihai Xiang, Co-Founder and CEO, KTMicro. Yihai Xiang is the Co-Founder and CEO of KT Micro, Inc. Prior to founding KT Micro in 2003, Yihai was a design manager of Intel Corporation. He also worked at Mindspeed, Conexant and Rockwell as Sr. mixed-signal designer and group leader. Yihai has over 14 years of semiconductor industry experience in engineering, marketing and management roles. He holds an MSEE from Oregon State University and BSEE from Tsinghua University. Yihai has multiple patents in IC design.

Bio: Ms. Julia Zhu, practices in the areas of international law, corporate law and intellectual property law. Ms. Zhu’s legal experience in China and the United States has given her a unique insight into the legal and investment environment of the world’s two most critical economies.
