NACSA proudly presents: "The Do's and Don'ts of Establishing High-tech Businesses in China"

And judging from the leading market indicators (performances of the stock and housing markets, etc.), China seems to be on track to be fulfilling this perceived role. NACSA's China Trip Update

This year’s China Trip is still on despite the swine flu (H1N1) epidemic. As you may have already known, the Chinese government is taking the swine flu virus very seriously, and many events over the summer have had to be canceled. After consulting with our host and sponsors, NACSA is pleased to announce that the China trip will not be affected. To reduce the potential impact of the swine flu virus, however, NACSA has decided to postpone the trip to mid-October for everyone’s safety.

For members who would like to be a part of the delegation and have already submitted a business proposal, please be patient as we work out the details of the trip. For those who have not submitted a business proposal, this postponement provides an excellent opportunity and much needed time for you to submit your proposal.

China Trip Itinerary

The following cities will be targeted for this year’s China Trip:

Oct. 11-13: Beijing, Tianjin
Oct. 14-17: Sichuan (Chengdu, Chongqing)
Oct. 18-25: Shanghai and Yangtze Delta (Suzhou, Wuxi, Zhengjiang, Hangzhou, Jiangying, etc.).

In addition, we will be attending the IC China conference as well as visiting high-tech zones, local governments, large/small companies, VC's, etc.

As always, NACSA is working hard to make the China Trip as effective and efficient as possible for both the delegates and our hosts/sponsors in China, which include the Chinese governments, industrial parks, VC’s, etc. To this end, we have made special arrangements for them to provide feedback to your business plan prior to the trip. This provides excellent opportunity for you to get early feedback on what your target audience wants so you can fine-tune your proposal. Again, stay tuned for the details.

Pre China Trip Workshop in Planning

NACSA will prepare a series of events in preparation and in conjunction with the China Trip. The next event in this series will be on this Sunday “The Do’s and Don’ts of Establishing High-Tech Businesses in China.” We have assembled a distinguished panel to share the secrets of getting funding in China, from where to find funding sources to how to make an effective business pitch “Chinese-style”. An announcement for the event will be sent out shortly, if not already.

If you want to start your own company in China and are looking for funding, this is a “can’t miss” event!
