NACSA 2008 China Trip Delegation
Second Announcement
(March 14, 2008)

The NACSA 2008 China Trip Delegation is a key event organized by NACSA for entrepreneurs and business executives in the US. In addition to being a great way to build or extend business and personal relationships, participants will benefit from the trip in the following ways:

  • Have direct dialogues with high-level business executives and high-ranking government officials in China on career, business, and investment opportunities.
  • Meet with potential investors in the U.S. and China.
  • Exchange information on industry standards, trends, and policies.
  • Find out how entrepreneurs and executives live and work in China.
  • Build long-term relationships with other members in the delegation.
  • Have your business plan reviewed by an elite committee consisting of NACSA board, interested investors, and industry experts in relevant areas.

Responses to the event so far have been overwhelmingly positive, as evidenced by the high turnout and the number of quality business proposals received in the Pre-trip Entrepreneurship Workshop held last month at Stanford Campus.

After an intensive period of preparation, NACSA is proud to announce the following final schedule for the trip:

Departure-Return Dates: April 21-30, 2008
Cities to Be Visited: Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Huzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi.

Welcome Our New Platinum Sponsors!

Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP)

Suzhou Industrial Park is the largest economic and technological cooperation project between Chinese and Singapore Government. It is an important window of China's Reform and Opening-up and a successful model of international cooperation.

In 1992, the idea of developing a modern industrial township with Singapore experience was broached. After rounds of discussions and site surveys, both governments decided to join hands in developing a modern industrial park in the east of Suzhou. The China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (CS-SIP) was thus born on Feb. 26, 1994 when Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing and Singapore Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew signed the Agreement on the Joint Development of Suzhou Industrial Park in Beijing. SIP now is one of the fastest growing and most competitive industrial development zones in the world.
